This maternity session was a little extra sweet... not only because it took place in the beautiful Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, but because this adorably pregnant momma-to-be also happens to be my sister! 

As I write this, my sweet niece has already been born (and I can't WAIT to go meet her!). For as long as I can remember, I have also dreamed of moving into the mountains, but this trip *almost* convinced me that the east coast may just be the best coast. The beautiful beaches, the peace and quiet... This was the first trip I have taken in many years where I felt fully relaxed and refreshed. Who else tends to feel that they need to jam pack every day of a trip with as much sightseeing as possible? I often end up returning home feeling more tired than anything, and usually need a few days to rest up before getting back into the swing of things. This trip, however, was the opposite. There was no hustle & bustle, no real agenda; just time spent with family, reading and eating delicious food while helping my sister prepare for the arrival of her little one.

I can't wait to see what travels are in store for 2023!
